Stanford Hospital Cellular Therapeutics Laboratory Expansion & Remodel
The 12,500 sq.ft., $7.5 million complex renovation project double the space dedicated to Cellular Therapeutics and provide segregation between new investigational procedures (for Phase 1 and 2 Clinical trials) and existing procedures that support the hospital on a day to day basis. The project includes renovations to the FDA regulated ISO 8 Clean Rooms, expanded Cell Processing Lab Space and associated Support, Storage and Administrative Functions. The project was constructed in phases to allow the CT Lab to remain operational throughout the construction period. MEP work includes new air handling unit, addition of a photocatalyic oxidation filtration system to an existing air handling unit, new emergency power distribution, HEPA filtration, a liquid Nitrogen storage and distribution system, BAS upgrades, and system validation for FDA compliance.
